Rosetta Stone Language Learning Download - Installing single levels

There may be times when you only need one language level installed or are missing a language level from your multi-level set.
Here's how to install it:
  1. Contact Rosetta Stone Product support by clicking here to obtain the download link for the level you need to install.
  2. Download the level from the link you were provided.

Windows XP

  1. Right click the language level file and choose Cut from the menu. The file will look something like this:
  2. Then click the Start button and in the Run box type: %applicationdata% Then click Run.
  3. Next, click into the following folders: Rosetta Stone, TOTALe, AutoInstall
  4. Finally, right click in the white space below the Failed and Installed folders and choose Paste.
  5. Now open Rosetta Stone and you should see a message saying 'Installing Languages'.

Windows Vista/7

  1. Right click the language level file and choose Cut from the menu. The file will look something like this:
  2. Then click the Start button and in the Search box type: %programdata%
  3. Next, click into the following folders: Rosetta Stone, TOTALe, AutoInstall(if you have Rosetta Stone TOTALe) or (if you see a Language Training folder) Rosetta Stone, Language Training, AutoInstall(if you have Rosetta Stone Language Learning)
  4. Finally, right click in the white space below the Failed and Installed folders and choose Paste.
  5. Now open Rosetta Stone and you should see a message saying 'Installing Languages'.

Windows 8 or 10.

  1. Right click the language level file and choose Cut from the menu. The file will look something like this:
  2. Press the Windows Key button on your keyboard and type: %programdata%Then press Enter.
  3. Next, click into the following folders: Rosetta Stone, Language Learning, and AutoInstall. If you do not see AutoInstall folder in Language Learning, then you must create the folder names AutoInstall (case sensitive). Inside the AutoInstall folder, please create Installed and Failed folders case sensitive as well. Now proceed to step 4.
  4. Finally, right click in the white space below the Failed and Installed folders and choose Paste.
  5. Now open Rosetta Stone and you should see a message saying 'Installing Languages'.

Mac OSX

  1. Find the language level file you downloaded and drag it to your desktop. The file will look something like this:
  2. Then click the Finder button in the dock.
  3. Click Go in the menu at the very top of the screen and Computer in the drop down.
  4. Next, click into the following folders: Macintosh HD, Library, Application Support, Rosetta Stone, TOTALe, AutoInstall(if you have Rosetta Stone TOTALe) or Macintosh HD, Library, Application Support, Rosetta Stone, Language Training, AutoInstall(if you have Rosetta Stone Language Learning) Note: If you do not see a folder named AutoInstall, just right click in the white space and click New Folder from the menu that appears. You'll then be able to name it AutoInstall.
  5. Drag the language level file from your desktop to the white space below the Failed and Installed folders.
  6. <Now open Rosetta Stone and you should see a message saying 'Installing Languages'.
